My name is Bianca Walker, I am 23 years old and live in south London. I currently work as a junior software engineer and have a passion for psychology and I was also recently diagnosed with combined ADHD. I started this blog because I love trying to make sense of the mind but when I was diagnosed it led me to reevaluate every decision I ever made. I constantly questioned who I could have been if only I had the help I needed, or if not knowing until now honed my best characteristic of never doubting my capabilities. I also enjoy literature and reading discussion’s around mental health now more than ever is changing as we watch people change the limited views surrounding it. Both being black and a woman I often asked myself during my psychology degree when reading countless studies, in these demographics where do I fit in? 

So let me introduce you to The Disordered Diaries where I will be touching on topics surrounding mental health, gender, and race. But I mainly want to delve into the highs and lows of being undiagnosed, medically diagnosed, or just simply not knowing what's wrong.
